Description The Lutron Maestro LED+ Motion Sensor Dimmer Switch works just like a Lutron Maestro dimmer with the addition of LutronΓÇÖs advanced motion sensing technology to automatically and gradually turn the lights on and off. The LED+ Motion Sensor Dimmer Switch is rated for 150W dimmable LED or 600W Incandescent/Halogen bulbs. Install in a single pole 3-way with existing switch or with Maestro companion dimmers (MA-R/MSC-AD) to dim from up to 9 locations. Use the raise/lower buttons to adjust the brightness for any activity or determine the preset level to ensure lights always turn on to your desired light level. The passive infrared (PIR) sensor covered by a tamper resistant lens detects heat from occupants moving and has a 180-degree field of view (900 sq ft major motion & 400 sq ft minor motion coverage). Equipped with smart ambient light detection (ALD) you can customize your sensing dimmer to detect daylight so lights don't turn on when enough natural light is present in the room. Unlike other manufacturers Lutron sensors use Cross Correlation Technology (XCT) to also detect fine motion such as typing at a desk or reading a book ' ensuring lights wonΓÇÖt turn off inadvertently when youΓÇÖre still in the room. Easy button programming is available to customize both the dimmer and the sensorΓÇÖs functions such as timeout occupied level and sensor mode. Lutron sensors have an adjustable timeout (1 5 15 or 30 minutes) to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. The occupied level is the brightness the sensor will turn on when motion is detected. Change the sensor to vacancy mode to meet Title 24 requirements: lights only turn on with a manual press of the tap switch but automatically turn off if the sensor no longer detects motion. Available in 10+ colors. Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
